Development Concept of Essentia

Essentia comes from Latin, meaning "essential". Aiming at the pursuit of China's basic market with high cost performance, Essentia series is a modular LC with simple functions, easy operation, price-friendly and small size. The basic design inherits the widely acclaimed Prominence series and transplants its "essential" products. In order to meet the requirements of GMP regulations in pharmaceutical, food and other industries, GMP/GLP correspondence such as user authentication and audit tracking, QA/QC calculation, system applicability calculation and actions according to its judgment results are added. In addition, IQ/OQ can also be applied to software compatible to LabSolutions LC.

Product Introduction

LC-16 Solvent Delivery Unit
Adhering to the excellent performance of Prominence LC-20AT, LC-16 is a new era solvent delivery pump capable of long-term and safe analysis by improving the recognized high-precision structure and improving the solvent delivery accuracy and precision.

SPD-16 UV-Vis Dual Wavelength Detector
The SPD-16 follows the well-received Prominence SPD-20A design and is a highly sensitive UV-Vis dual-wavelength detector. High sensitivity and wide linear range are excellent performance inherited from Prominence SPD-20A. On this basis, low noise is further pursued to achieve high sensitivity beyond the level. The use of optional mobile phase circulation valve can save mobile phase, not only reduce analysis cost, but also be more conducive to environmental protection.

SIL-16 Autosampler
SIL-16 autosampler continues the excellent basic design of Shimadzu Prominence SIL-20A, which is widely praised for its performance and durability. It is a cost-effective autosampler with both reliability and high performance. Excellent quantitative reproducibility is achieved through the full-volume injection method with mature use experience, while the influence of cross-contamination is minimized. The ultra-high speed injection action with the shortest injection speed below 10 seconds has greatly improved the analysis efficiency. It also has pre-treatment procedures such as dilution and addition, which are widely corresponding to various uses.
SIL-16 has the following characteristics:

4. Abundant pretreatment function
    SIL-16 has many pretreatment functions such as adding, mixing and diluting samples
    Change the preprocessing program, which can correspond to various preprocessing
    (1) Pre-column derivatization, adding internal reference materials, and diluting the sample
    (2) Set the number of reagents, adding sequence, mixing, reaction time, etc
    (3) Spray into the sample bottle to mix

CTO-16 Column Oven Integrated with Reservoir
CTO-16 unit integrates column oven and reservoir, and can be equipped with manual sampler, which is simple and compact. The oven can accommodate one column with a maximum length of 25cm. By adopting a heating module and a heat preservation cover, the temperature of the column can be accurately adjusted to maintain the stability of analysis. The reservoir can hold up to 3 1L bottles or up to 5 500mL bottles.

Operation Panel
Using the newly designed Chinese interface operation panel, LC-16 solvent delivery pump (2 sets), SPD-16 detector, SIL-16 autosampler and CTO-16 column oven can be operated without reconnecting the wiring.

LabSolutions Essentia/LabSolutions Direct
1. Introduction of LabSolutions Essentia
Chinese workstation of LabSolutions Essentia is developed to correspond to the new product LC-16 series. It is a workstation integrating instrument control, data acquisition and data re-analysis. Based on LabSolutions, GUI function is adopted to reduce the operation errors of analysts through intuitive operation, which can ensure the reliability of analysis data. In addition to the user management function and supervision tracking (audit tracking) function required by GLP/GMP regulations, QA/QC and threshold parameter control function of system stability calculation results can be used to realize intelligent analysis according to automatic judgment of calibration curve, stability test, sample analysis result setting analysis pause or stop, re-injection and other actions.
2. LabSolutions Direct ~ Smartphone/Tablet Remote Control Software
Using LabSolutions Direct software attached to LabSolutions Essentia, the status of instruments can be displayed and controlled on convenient user interfaces such as smart phones and tablets. By using LabSolutions Direct, you can confirm and control the system status with smart phones or tablets outside the laboratory without going to the front of the instrument. It can also manage multiple systems at the same time, making laboratory analysis more convenient.
